From the NoDa community website:

NoDa is Charlotte’s historic arts and entertainment district – a neighborhood where the people are as diverse as the art, live music, craft beers, restaurants, custom gifts and tattoos you will find here! NoDa is dedicated to promoting the arts, living eco-friendly lifestyles, supporting small businesses, encouraging diversity and aiding fellow charities.

NoDa is undoubtadly one of the coolest places in Charlotte. There’s Art, Food, Bars, Breweries, Entertainment, Shopping, and places to live!

The arts and music scene is no joke. Evening Muse, Neighborhood Theatre, Chop Shop, and JackBeagle’s all host bands and solo artists. Art is scattered throughout the entire community in small local shops like Pura Vida Worldly Art and Ruby’s, as well as NoDa Gallery Crawls which happen on the first Friday of every month. Those who appreciate theatre absolutely must go to a show at UpStage.

NoDa features two extremely popular breweries, NoDa Brewing and Birdsong Brewery right next to each other. Only 1/2 mile away is Heist Brewery. Their beers are on tap all over the neighborhood.

There is always a lot going on, so make sure to check out their calendar.

NoDa is at North Davidson and 36th Streets — located about 2 miles from Uptown Charlotte.

There is no doubt that NoDa is one of the most happening areas in Charlotte. Wonderful community (very friendly people too), lots and lots to offer, and there is always something going on.
